Terms of service

Last updated 20 September 2026

These terms cover your use of DetailerHQ (“we”, “us”), the software that gives your detailing business a website, online booking and customer records. They're between us and you, the business that subscribes. Your own customers are yours: you set the terms they book under, and those terms appear on your site.

You can reach us any time at karoltyrakowski@gmail.com.

1. Your subscription

Building your site is free, for as long as you like: no card, no time limit. Nothing you build is public until you choose to go live. When you do, DetailerHQ costs £49 a month, including VAT where it applies, and renews monthly until you cancel.

We'll always tell you at least 30 days before any price change, and you're free to cancel instead.

2. Cancelling

Cancel whenever you like, from Billing in your dashboard — no notice period, no cancellation fee, no phone call. Your site stays live until the end of the month you've already paid for, then it's paused — your admin panel stays open, so you can carry on editing and go live again whenever you want.

Pausing doesn't delete anything. Your customers, bookings and photos stay exactly as they were for at least 90 days, so a change of mind costs you nothing. You can export your customer list at any time, and we'll send you your data on request.

3. Money from your customers

Your customers pay you, through your own Stripe account. The money goes to your bank; we never hold it and we take no share of your takings. Stripe's own fees and terms apply to those payments.

That also means refunds, chargebacks and disputes with your customers are between you and them. We'll help where we can, but we can't move money we never had.

4. What you publish

You're responsible for what goes on your site: your prices, your service descriptions, your photos and any claims you make (“fully insured”, “approved installer” and so on). Only publish photos you took or have permission to use, and only make claims that are true for your business.

Don't use DetailerHQ for anything unlawful, to send unsolicited marketing, or to impersonate someone else. If you do, we may suspend the site — we'll tell you why, and give you a chance to put it right unless the law requires otherwise.

5. What we promise

We work hard to keep DetailerHQ up and fast, but we can't promise it will never go down — no honest software company can. If something breaks, tell us and we'll fix it as quickly as we reasonably can.

We back your data up, and we don't sell it or use it to advertise to your customers. We may use anonymous, aggregated figures (for example, the average number of bookings across all sites) to improve the product.

6. If things go wrong

Nothing here limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or anywhere else the law doesn't allow it to be limited. Otherwise, our total liability to you in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period, and we're not liable for lost profits or lost bookings.

7. Changes and ending the agreement

We may update these terms — if a change matters to you, we'll email you before it takes effect. We may end your subscription with 30 days' notice (or immediately if clause 4 is seriously breached), and we'll refund anything you've paid for time you don't get.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and its courts.
